This concert features a wide selection of chorale works from various genres. Highlights include Beethoven91ɫƬ Hallelujah chorus from the Mount of Olives (in celebration of Beethoven91ɫƬ upcoming 250th year), several anthems by Dan Forrest, the gospel piece Lead me to the Rock by Walter Black, and the premiere of Peace I Leave with You, a piece written for the Chorale by Alumnus Chris Enloe, who is currently studying at Peabody Conservatory. The chorale also performs Agnus Dei, the choral arrangement of Barber91ɫƬ Adagio for Strings, the semi-official American anthem of mourning associated with events including J.F. Kennedy91ɫƬ assassination and 9/11. The concert ends with the traditional gathering of Chorale alumni into the group as they perform the Chorale91ɫƬ signature song, Tom Fettke91ɫƬ You are the Light.
