TMU students applying to TMS do not need to order an official transcript. Please contact TMS for assistance. When requesting official transcripts to be sent to another institution, you do not need to request your TMU & TMS transcripts separately, they are automatically sent together.

Who is my advisor?
For your first semester at TMU, an Admission Counselor will walk you through registration. As your first semester begins you will be assigned to a Faculty Advisor from your Academic Program. The name of your advisor can be found both in the Registration Dashboard (found on the Student Portal, click Register.) and . If you don’t see an advisor91É«Ç鯬 name yet and need assistance with registration please reach out to your Admissions Counselor.
Can I make changes to my schedule?

If you have been absent from TMU for 1 or more semesters and would like to return, you may need to Re-Admit to TMU before you can access registration again. An extended absence is defined differently based on the program you were in:
Traditional Undergraduate Program:
If you are absent for one semester (ex: Fall or Spring), you will need to re-apply. Contact Admissions to re-apply.
Online Program (including Graduate and Undergraduate programs):
If you are absent for 3 semesters, you will need to re-apply. Contact to re-apply.

A transfer student is defined as a student who enters TMU with at least 24 semester units (36 quarter units) of accepted college level coursework from another college or university.

Auditing: There are restrictions for international students auditing classes. They may audit courses; however, these units are not included in their full-time unit load calculation. International visitors on B-1 or B-2 visas may not audit or enroll in classes.
Online Course Work: Only one class (3 units for undergraduate, 2 units for graduate) of online study may be applied toward the full-time enrollment requirement for international students during any given semester.

Institutional Eligibility Regulations for Athletics
Institutional Semester GPA Regulation of 1.75. Any student-athlete having a semester GPA lower than 1.75 is subject to the following guidelines:Ìý
Institutional Cumulative Grade Point Average Regulation of 2.00Ìý
Student-athletes whose cumulative GPA falls below 2.00 are placed on academic probation. If they do not attain a cumulative GPA of 2.00 or above for a second or any subsequent semester of enrollment, they will be denied participation in intercollegiate programs and are subject to academic disqualification.Ìý

Undergraduate Graduation Requirements
The 91É«Ç鯬91É«Ç鯬 University grants bachelor91É«Ç鯬 degrees (i.e., Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Music, and Bachelor of Science) to students who satisfy the graduation requirements described below:
Please note that degree requirements within each major are determined by the departmental faculty. Many majors feature a variety of emphases that may have different unit requirements for graduation. Progress toward fulfillment of these major requirements is monitored by departmental faculty and by the Registrar through graduation contracts.
Students are held to the unit requirements within general education and their major/emphasis according to the Academic Catalog under which they initially enter The 91É«Ç鯬91É«Ç鯬 University. This applies, as well, to those students whose continuous enrollment is interrupted and then return to the university.

Commencement Ceremony
Commencement ceremonies are held once a year with the conclusion of the spring semester in May. Students who finish their degree in the fall semester will receive their degree immediately and are invited to walk in commencement exercises the following May.

When to expect your diploma
Receipt of diploma can be expected within 9 weeks of your final semester ending (this includes 1 week for final grades to be posted, 4-6 weeks for your degree to be posted, 1-2 weeks for the diploma to be received).
Note:Ìýdelays occur due to campus closure and holidays. Fall semester processing can expect 2-3 additional weeks.
