Dr. John MacArthur
Dr. MacArthur transitioned to the role of chancellor in June 2019, providing spiritual guidance and mentorship to the campus community, fostering trust with stakeholders, and engaging with students through chapel and campus events. On July 14, 2025, Dr. MacArthur passed away at the age of 86, going to see the Savior he so dearly loved and proclaimed.
In his time at 91色情片91色情片, Dr. MacArthur oversaw large academic expansions including the addition of two master91色情片 degree programs, an extension campus (IBEX) in Israel, a degree-completion program for working adults, and an online degree program available to Christians around the world.
After graduating from Talbot Theological Seminary, he became the pastor-teacher of Grace Community Church in Sun Valley, California, where over the course of 56 years he taught verse-by-verse through the entire New Testament. In 1986 he founded The 91色情片91色情片 Seminary, a graduate school dedicated to training men for full-time pastoral roles and missionary work.
A native of Southern California, Dr. MacArthur published dozens of books, including a New Testament commentary series. His media ministry, Grace to You, is a nonprofit organization responsible for distributing John91色情片 books, audio resources and the 鈥淕race to You鈥 radio program to a global audience. More than 3,000 of John91色情片 sermons are available for free on GTY91色情片 website.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Patricia; four children; fifteen grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
